At the tender age of nine, Alexa V embarked on her artistic journey, showcasing her talents in dancing and singing at various performing arts centers. As she matured into her teenage years, the Celia Cruz High School of Music in the Bronx became instrumental in her development as a singer. The school provided an enriching environment for Alexa V to hone her vocal technique and explore her musical potential.

Upon completing her secondary education, Alexa V furthered her musical exploration by joining a gospel choir. This immersion into the soulful rhythms and harmonies of gospel music allowed her to diversify her repertoire and enhance her vocal prowess. Alexa V also augmented her professional experience by becoming a member of the Impact Repertory Theater performance company in Harlem, New York. This esteemed non-profit organization offered her a platform to display her talents professionally, capturing audiences with her potent vocals and dynamic stage presence.
In 2011, Alexa V had the esteemed opportunity to share the stage with legendary artists such as Nile Rodgers and Franklin during a benefit for the "We Are Family" foundation. To diversify her skill set, Alexa V also pursued acting classes at the John Robert Powers School, leading to several television and online engagements. Simultaneously, she embarked on songwriting, a step towards fulfilling her dream of becoming a comprehensive artist.

In 2015 and 2022, Alexa V talents graced various international wedding stages, allowing her to garner a broader fanbase and maintain global relevance. She also made an appearance with her father, K-Born, at the Adam Clay Powell, Jr State Office Building, debuting their song "Guns Away." This track, promoting themes of peace, hope, and love, has amassed over 193,000 views on YouTube. Alexa V further expanded her musical contributions by releasing her debut single, "Diamond Doll," an empowering pop song about a woman's worth.

In May 2023, Alexa V teamed up with Arnstar to release their collaborative song and music video, "Square One." This project symbolized a fresh start for the artist, with Alexa V and Arnstar putting in late-night work to ensure a high-quality output. The partnership resulted in a unique and meaningful piece of art. Through performances at renowned venues like the legendary SOB and the Apollo Theater, Alexa V has gained significant exposure and serves as an inspiration to emerging artists.
